Miriam
Miriam is one of the most joyful children you will ever meet. She is ever-smiling. She is also very intuitive, and always knows when someone around her is feeling sad or down. Miriam had a minor stroke as an infant, and requires some physiotherapy to strengthen her arms and legs. She came to live at Flying Kites after the death of her mother and father.

Who is your hero and why? My hero is Auntie Meredith. She is a good auntie and she cares very much for us.
What do you want to be when you grow up? I think I would like to be a teacher. No no no, I want to be a doctor, I will help people in Kenya,
If you had a super power, what would it be? I would make it rain, so the school bus would be stuck in the mud and we could play here all day!
What do you dream about? I dreamt last night that Isaac was president. He had many many children, and one son of his, was also president.
What accomplishment are you most proud of? I always do my homework now. Ask teacher Paul, it’s true.
What’s your favorite memory? When we all went to town with Ruth and we stayed in a hotel.
What do you like to do for fun? I like to play with my friends and make clothes.
If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be? I would go to see heaven, maybe just for a day and one night, and then I would return.
Describe your perfect day. First, we go to church, and then, we come home, we can eat some chicken and cakes, and have a dance party! Can we do this?
What’s your favorite animal, shape and color? I like the color purple, and I like cats. Shape? You can’t have a favorite shape.
